E-Mail and Mailing List Privacy -- Mack's Outdoors (a division of TMIS) respects your privacy. We'll use your e-mail address only when we are confirming your Internet order, or notifying you of changes/updates to the site or other news. We assure you, we do not make our email list or mailing list available to other companies.
Your Comments -- Occasionally our customers are inspired to tell us about a memorable experience they've had with us here at Mack's Outdoors. We encourage this, as we love to hear from you, and your comments help us improve our service. We occasionally share comments we receive via our website.
Secure Online Ordering -- All online transactions are handled with industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption. When you enter your credit card number and personal information into the order form, it is transmitted across the Internet in an encrypted (scrambled) form, then decoded when it gets to us (you'll notice that the Internet address of the page begins with "https"). This provides a secure shopping environment for you, our valued customer. At Mack's Outdoors your credit card information is not stored on our office computers. It is stored only on our secure Internet servers and is automatically removed after 30 days. All major Internet stores use this same safe and secure technology which has been approved by VISA, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.
Cookies -- As an interactive on-line store, we use a tool called a "cookie" to send small bits of information from our on-line store computer to yours. Be assured that data sent from our store in this manner cannot provide us with any information about you or your computer. Cookies are only used by our store's software during your visit. This is so you can select several products and store them in your shopping cart until you are ready to send your order. Without them your shopping experience would not be nearly as convenient. No other server besides ours can access the cookie that we send to your computer.
