Essentially, the myUTN-52 - complete with web-based control panel - creates a virtual USB cable extension over fiber-optic. Your Hi-Speed USB peripherals will act like as if they are directly connected a PC. The server comes with 2 onboard USB ports, which can be expanded to five if needed. This type of niche product isn't exactly the answer to consumer joe's USB cable extension. Be prepared to lose $488 if you want the ultimate solution.
